You no longer have to book your visit to the public baths. If you want to spend a couple of hours in one of our private saunas, you do need to book but you can do so quickly and easily via our websitePackages, treatments, the birthday offer, Bongo vouchers, Vivabox vouchers, Cadeaubox vouchers or hotel accommodation have to be booked by telephone (Thermae Boetfort: +32 2 759 81 96 / Thermae Grimbergen: +32 2 270 81 96). Booking a private sauna is quick and easy online. 

You don’t have to wear a face mask in our public baths. However, you do need to wear one at reception, in the changing rooms, the waiting room of the beauty clinic and during your treatment (excluding a facial treatment or when you are lying on your stomach during a massage). You must always wear your mouth mask in the restaurant. It can only be taken off while sitting at the table.

You don’t need a COVID Safe Ticket to visit our thermal baths. But if you want to have something to eat (breakfast after your overnight stay included) and/or drink at the bar or restaurant, you do need a COVID Safe Ticket from Monday 1/11. If you don’t have a COVID Safe Ticket and you want to have something to eat and/or drink, you can only do so on the terrace. Maximum 6 persons per table.

There is no time limit for a visit to our public baths, so you can stay as long as you want and use all the facilities (sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, swimming pool). 

The restaurant and the bar close at 11 PM. The wellness facilities remain open until midnight on Friday and Saturday, from Sunday until Thursday until 11 PM. 

Covid-19 measures

What do we expect from you?

  • If you feel sick, you should postpone your visit.
  • You don’t have to wear a face mask in our public baths. However, you do need to wear one at reception, in the changing rooms, the waiting room of the beauty clinic and during your treatment (excluding a facial treatment or when you are lying on your stomach during a massage). You must always wear your mouth mask in the restaurant. It can only be taken off while sitting at the table.

  • Respect the 1.5 metre rule. People living under the same roof don't need to keep 1.5m distance. 

Also continue to follow the following advice.

  • Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap.
  • Cough or sneeze into the bend of your elbow. 
  • Use a paper tissue and throw it away immediately.

What we do.

  • Our reception staff sit behind a plexiglass screen and if a safe distance cannot be guaranteed, they will put on a facial mask. They have been briefed extensively on the coronavirus measures.
  • At the beauty institue our staff are wearing facial masks too, and even a face shield during facial treatments. The cabins and the equipment used are thoroughly disinfected after each session. 
  • All contact sensitive surfaces are disinfected frequently.
  • There is a constant supply of fresh air thanks to our ventilation systems. 
  • The water inside the jacuzzi's, pools, etc. are treated with chlorine.  
  • Extra co2 meters have been installed.

Do you need a Covid Safe Ticket to visit our wellness centers?

You don’t need a COVID Safe Ticket to visit our thermal baths. Obviously, we make sure that we provide a safe wellness experience, in keeping with current government guidelines.

My gift voucher expired during your closure, what now?

If you bought a gift voucher during the mandatory closing, don't worry. The same applies, of course, to anyone who already had a gift voucher which expired during this closure. Specifically, we are extending all gift certificates purchased from us (in the webshop or at the reception) between 1/9/2019 and 8/6/2021. We had already extended all these gift vouchers until 9/12/2021. All gift vouchers that have not been used by that date will be extended one last time until 31/03/2022. Thereafter, the gift vouchers can only be renewed upon payment of an administrative fee. You don't have to contact us for this, just bring your gift voucher along during your visit. With a gift certificate, you can now also book your private sauna online in one click. This way you may avoid long waiting times on the phone!

I have a Bongo, Vivabox, Gift Box that expired during your closure, what now?

You need to contact Bongo, Vivabox or Cadeaubox to renew your voucher. Don't forget to book by phone in advance.

I received a voucher from Cera that expired during your closure, what now?

The Cera gift vouchers were extended until 15/12/2021. Because of the Corona measures it is still necessary to book in advance. This can only be done by phone. Call 02 270 81 96 for Thermae Grimbergen or 02 759 81 96 for Thermae Boetfort.

I have a Flairbon that expired during your closure, what now?

The Fall 2020 Flair voucher will be extended until 31/08/2021 in both Thermae Boetfort and Thermae Grimbergen. Don't forget to book by phone in advance and bring your Flairbon with you when you visit.

What about my membership?

The validity of memberships is also being extended by three months.

Are couples massages allowed again?

No, not for the time being. It is still just one person plus massage therapist per cabin. However, we can schedule it so that you can both have your massages at the same time, but you will be massaged in separate rooms.

Can I pay with consumption passes or the corona premium?

Yes, you can pay with Monizze, Edenred and Sodexo consumption passes or the corona premium, both at Thermae Boetfort and Thermae Grimbergen. Please note: this only applies to consumption passes or the corona premium, not other payment options offered by these partners
