This expansion responds to strong regional demand and the continued popularity of padel. With this investment, we aim to create even more playing opportunities. Both members and non-members will be welcome in the new hall.
The hall will feature premium courts, optimal lighting simulation, and both heating and cooling systems. This clearly sets Thermae Sports apart from other providers in the region and guarantees optimal playing comfort all year round. The building has impressive dimensions: 36 by 48 meters, with a ridge height of 10.5 meters and a height of 9.5 meters at court level.
Terracotta courts were chosen (a subtle nod to traditional tennis courts), combined with a white frame. The result is a stylish and warm look, creating a beautiful and harmonious setting.
Sustainability
Sustainability is central to the design of the new padel hall. Solar panels will be installed across the entire roof surface, allowing the building to generate its own electricity in an energy-efficient way. In addition, a 360,000-liter water reservoir will be constructed beneath the hall. This reservoir will collect rainwater not only from the padel hall but from the entire complex.
A geothermal heat pump will provide comfortable underfloor heating during colder days and efficient cooling in summer. Thanks to this geothermal system, the padel hall is truly unique. A comfortable indoor climate will be guaranteed throughout the year with a minimal ecological footprint.
If everything proceeds smoothly, construction is expected to be completed by the end of June this year.
