At Thermae Sports Merchtem, we can dismiss that argument right off the bat. We're open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, which means there's always time to fit in a workout. We're also open on weekends and holidays, from 9 AM to 6 PM. In other words: plenty of opportunities to fit a workout into even the busiest of schedules.
It doesn't have to be long, either – our shortest class is just thirty minutes! After your workout, head to our wellness centre for some me-time or meet a friend for a bite or some drinks in our cosy brasserie.
Did you know that 74% of Belgians exercise to lose weight? Our personal trainers would be happy to develop a custom programme for you. Our restaurant is also a great source of inspiration, with a menu brimming with healthy options.
While these figures may seem promising, there's still a chance that we won't meet the physical activity recommendations developed by the World Health Organisation. Adults should get at least 150 minutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity per week.
