There are some wonderful walks to enjoy in the Grimbergen countryside. Among them, the Gravenbos walk, a woodland walk of about 6km. It starts at Lourdesgrot, a place of worship, and takes you along a castle, ’s Gravenkasteel, among other things. The Lintbos walk is a little shorter: about 3.5km. This walk takes you through the Maalbeek valley and with a bit of luck, you may even spot several bird species. Finally, there is the Grimbergse Kappellen walk, a 10km walk that takes you along several small historic chapels.
