The temperature in this sauna is only 55°C but it actually feels hotter because of the humidity. What makes this sauna special is that it has stone instead of wooden benches and in the middle of the fire, there is a well with a bucket. With a push of the button, you can bring up this bucket to pour water over the stones, causing the humidity and the temperature in the sauna to rise even more. Two Mushara Aufguss sessions are organised daily in the African Lodge sauna, during which moisturising and nourishing shea butter is used.
