Microdermabrasion, part of a combination treatment

Microdermabrasion is a peeling with microcrystals that gives your skin a deep exfoliation. Microcrystals are sprayed onto your skin with the microdermabrasion device. This loosens any dead skin cells and impurities, which are immediately sucked up again and removed by the device, along with the microcrystals. This treatment is completely painless and allows for the active ingredients of the skincare products used afterwards to be better absorbed by your skin. What’s more, microdermabrasion also stimulates blood flow, resulting in the faster delivery of oxygen and the active ingredients of the products to their destination.

That makes it the perfect treatment to start with in a combination treatment. At our Beauty Clinic, we offer two treatments that use microdermabrasion as a basis: micromesotherapy and microcryotherapy.

In micromesotherapy, the therapist uses the mesotherapy device to deliver the skincare products used more deeply into the skin through radiofrequency. Radiofrequency also creates heat in the deeper skin layers, which boosts collagen and elastin production, as does microdermabrasion. In other words, they reinforce each other’s effects!

In contrast, microcryotherapy uses cold oxygen to give your skin a boost. The cold flow of air accelerates blood flow. The result? A more radiant complexion, as well as faster delivery of oxygen and the active ingredients of the serums used.
