A shrub, witch hazel is also known as hamamelis. Its use offers a variety of skin benefits. For instance, it alleviates skin rashes, including spots and blackheads; soothes the skin; and, its antioxidants protect your skin from ageing.

At Thermae Boetfort and Thermae Grimbergen, we exclusively use beauty products of our house brand Sirène. This line of products is produced in a Belgian lab and is only available at our wellness centres. Witch hazel is one of the active ingredients in a number of our beauty products:
- Hydrating day cream: a day cream for daily use, suitable for all skin types. (50ml – 26.80 euros)
- Clay mask (normal to oily skin): a cleansing mask that restores your skin’s moisture balance. (50ml – 19.95 euros)
- Cleansing lotion and milk (normal to oily skin): you can use both products to quickly cleanse your skin in the morning and evening. (200ml – 13.25 euros)
- Peeling cream: scrubbing your skin once or twice a week keeps it healthy! This gentle gommage is suitable for all skin types. (50ml – 17.25 euros)
