It’s important to clear your mind every now and then to keep stress at bay. If you have a hard time relaxing, start small: spend some time in your garden or take a few deep breaths from down in your belly. Try to tune everything else out and focus only on your breathing. Tackling some household chores with focused mindfulness is another great way to relax. Whatever you do, make sure you give it your undivided attention. If you're brushing your teeth, focus on the movement of the toothbrush. What do you taste? How does it feel? You’ll soon feel your mind start to quiet and your body start to relax.
A day at the sauna is another great way to relax! Thermae Boetfort is open from 10.30 AM to 11 PM on weekdays and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, which gives you plenty of time to relax and unwind! The sauna is a phone-free and calendar-free zone, which means no to-do lists or other distractions.
