Did you know that our castle estate is divided into two areas with similar facilities? One area is for guests who enjoy sauna and wellness naked and the other is for those of you who prefer to do so in swimwear. Because not everybody feels comfortable sitting in the sauna naked and we really do want everyone to be able to experience the health benefits of regular sauna bathing!
Saunas
There are three different saunas in the swimwear area: the traditional Kelo sauna; a Light Therapy sauna, where you can discover the power of colour therapy; and the Music sauna with a choice of different music styles.
Of course, we also offer an infrared sauna experience. In the Laconium, you will find both the traditional infrared and Far infrared therapy.
Wellness baths and pools
There is a steam bath in the swimwear area. The hot steam does wonders for your skin health and helps you breathe easier.
We also have a floatation pool in our swimwear area with salt water like in the Dead Sea, in which you will float effortlessly. A unique experience that is incredibly relaxing.
In between sauna sessions, you can have a relaxing soak in our gently bubbling Jacuzzis. The warm water feels heavenly and the bubble jets massage away any tension.
Of course, there is also a heated swimming pool in this area for a leisurely swim or just floating around in.
Daily wellness programme
At Thermae Boetfort, we live and breathe wellness. And not to brag, but we are very good at it. That includes organising unique wellness experiences. Our enthusiastic Aufguss team always pulls out all the stops. As our sauna guest, you can take part in the many different experiences we offer daily at our centre for free: from revitalising scrubbing sessions and relaxing halotherapy to invigorating Aufguss sessions. All this and more, and yes, in the swimwear area too.
Among these sessions are the daily Aufguss session in the Kelo sauna and scrubbing session in the steam bath. You can, of course, also take part in the relaxation session with Tibetan singing bowls in the relaxation area above the Silence bar or the halotherapy session in our unique salt room. Swimwear dress code
For hygiene reasons, loose swim shorts are not allowed. So, that means men can only wear tight-fitting swim briefs or trunks. Women have a choice of a swimsuit or bikini. Swim dresses, strings or burkinis are not allowed.
Forgot your swimwear or does your swimwear not meet our dress code requirements? No problem, just hire some at reception.
Do also bring a bathrobe, spa slippers and two large towels, one to dry yourself with at the end of the day and one to use in the saunas. Don’t have your own? Don’t worry, these, too, are available to hire at reception.
