Maybe you want to do something a bit different in between all your wellness relaxation? Grimbergen won’t disappoint! There is plenty to see and do in the stunning countryside surrounding our hotel. The Parel walk is just one of many great walks to enjoy in the area.
The Parel walk is wheelchair and pushchair friendly and starts at Charleroyhoeve, a former abbey farm (Lierbaan 16, Grimbergen). You have a choice of three distances: 1.5km, 3.5km or 5.5km. Along this walk, you will discover several historical buildings as well as gorgeous natural scenery.
Incidentally, Grimbergen is situated on the Via Brabantica, which is part of El Camino de Santiago or the Way of Saint James, a pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. You can recognise the route by the bronze shells on the footpath. Are you a pilgrim? Make sure to have your credencial (pilgrim passport) stamped at the abbey!
After this wonderful walk, you can kick back and relax at our hotel. We offer different room types, something to suit all budgets.
