What’s more, pimples often go hand in hand with shiny skin, blackheads and potential scarring if you can’t resist popping and picking at your pimples. In short, this is a skin problem you really should do something about.

Microdermabrasion

A deep-cleansing microcrystal facial peeling that removes dead skin cells, gives your skin a more even appearance and tightens pores. So, the ideal treatment for impure skin, among other things. But it is much more than just a deep-cleansing treatment. It also improves circulation in the skin and boosts collagen production. The result? Radiant, firmer skin!

Microcryotherapy

Besides having impure skin, do you also have oily skin or large pores? Microcryotherapy is the treatment for you! It is a common misconception that oily skin can’t be dehydrated. Does your skin feel tight, do you have fine lines or flaky skin, for instance? Chances are that you have dehydrated skin.

Microcryotherapy not only cleanses the skin through the microcrystal peeling part of the treatment, it also hydrates the skin thanks to the Peltier effect. This involves the narrowing and subsequent widening of your capillaries through the use of heat and cold, which boosts circulation. This allows for a faster delivery of the active ingredients of the skincare products used into the skin cells, as well as a faster removal of waste products.

Micromesotherapy

Does your skin need extra care? Maybe you suffer from extremely dehydrated skin, a dull complexion or fine lines? Micromesotherapy is the perfect treatment for you. During this treatment, your skin is not only cleansed through a microcrystal peeling, it is also nourished all the way into the deeper skin layers. This is also a great treatment for slightly more mature, impure skin.

Multi-treatment pass

If you have impure skin, you may need several treatments as this will help us stimulate your skin to respond optimally to the treatment. If you would like a course of treatments, we recommend getting one of our money-saving multi-treatment passes, with savings from 50 to 150 euros.

Our multi-treatment passes are not available to buy online. If you would like to buy one, you can do so at reception of Thermae Grimbergen.

What can you do at home?

Our beauty therapists are happy to give you some extra advice for at-home skincare. That way, you can do your bit towards keeping your skin in good condition from the comfort of your own bathroom, while at the same time boosting the effect of the professional treatments. Our deep-cleansing foam gel, for instance, may be great for your skin type. Based on lemon extracts, it is highly cleansing and brightens a dull complexion. Then, there is our acne gel, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and suitable for daily use. Another excellent product for impure skin is our snail gel mask: it is sebum regulating, very hydrating and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles at that!

All our products are by Sirène, a line of skincare products developed for us in a Belgian lab. You can only buy them at our centres. Just ask our beauty therapists about them during your visit, they will be happy to tell you everything you want to know!
