Those of you who suffer from drier skin in the harsh winter weather have probably been using a rich, thick day cream. Good news! Now that spring has sprung, you probably won’t be needing this anymore. With your skin no longer exposed to the winter elements, you could try switching to a lighter day cream.
But don’t forget about the sun! Spring brings with it the warmer, sunnier weather so it’s important to protect your skin properly. You can either do this by choosing a day cream with SPF or an actual sunscreen product. If you use sunscreen, you may notice the appearance of a few (more) blackheads. To prevent this from happening, make sure to cleanse your skin well at the end of the day.
Another thing to add to your spring skincare to-do list is a body peeling. This exfoliates your skin, cleansing it thoroughly so that you will get a more even tan when sunbathing. Tip: be careful when going out into the sun straight after a scrub. We advise you not to spend hours sunbathing after a body peeling and certainly not unprotected.
