The main difference between a traditional Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna is the heating process. In a Finnish sauna, it’s the air around you that is heated so you get hot and start to sweat. In an infrared sauna, the infrared rays heat your body directly, which completely relaxes your muscles. It’s a very different heat experience.
